One of the perks of electronic self-publishing is finding customers that live thousands of miles away. Whenever I post a new product for sale I'm always thrilled to see destination such as Berlin, London, and Pisa show up on the Paypal orders. In fact, I often mail print products to European locations at zero profit simply because I like the idea of being a global publisher. That, and I've loved many European countries ever since backpacking through them in my youth.
Wow. I just realized that I used the phrase "in my youth" for the first time. Am I an official Grognard now? I need to meditate on this for a while.
Anyway, I'd like to direct your attention to my first product review from an Italian rpg blog. It's great to see that our little hobby knows no borders; in one's imagination or on the real planet earth as well. Please take a moment to read Terre Tormentate. Don't worry if you can't translate Italian, Google can do it for you.
Cheers.
Hey old man, I just ordered your cane. It should be there in a few days.
ReplyDeleteGreat review...good to see one from over the waters. Although I'm tempted to ask him to point out the typos. But that's just my own ego talking.
Ha ha. That's so funny I forgot to take my false teeth out. Actually, a cane would come in rather handy...
DeleteYour first Italian review? How cool is that? Very cool. Much congrats and boogie boogie.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Before this contact the closest I got to Italy was my Dario argento marathon.
DeleteI feel the same way about international orders. I always enjoy getting them from different countries. Before I even read this today I tought about getting a small world map and putting pins into the different place I ship them. Congrats about the review. Heading over there now to read.
